Lillian Anderson age 89 years, 8 months, and 27 days of Whitley City, Kentucky passed away Thursday, November 4, 2010 at the Scott County Hospital in Oneida, Tennessee.

Funeral services were held Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Anderson officiating. Burial followed in the Pine Knot Cemetery.

She was born February 5, 1921 in Pine Knot, Kentucky to Caswell Lovett and Nellie Creekmore Lovett. Lillian was a homemaker and a member of the Whitley City First Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, Jim, prior to his death. Lillian enjoyed crocheting and watching television, especially the UK ball games. She was also a fan of Elvis and enjoyed listening to her nephew, Larry "Lucky Dog" Davis on the radio.

Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Jim Anderson; brothers Loyd, Renfro, Charles, Kerny, Boyd and Arlis Lovett; sisters Beatrice Stowe, Lena Wood, Martha Glaspell, Bonnie Jean McWilliams, and Azel Davis.

Survivors include her son, James Lloyd Anderson; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews and other family members.
