She was united in marriage to Wm. Brooks, of Derbyshire, England, May 31, 1848. To them were born five children, but two of whom are living - Frank E. and Luretta. She has been a member of the M. E. church for over forty years. By her death her family is bereft of a loving wife and mother, her neighbors of a kind and sympathetic friend. We mourn not as those who have no hope, for our loss is her eternal gain.
