Last Sunday morning at 8.15 o'clock Mr. Jacob R. Cox, one of our oldest citizens, died very suddently in his eighty-third year. None knew the old gentleman but to love him, and his children have the sympathy of the entire community. He was a member of the Baptist church and a christian-hearted honorable gentleman.
