A native of Ware County, Georgia and a daughter to the late Matthew Tatum and Emmie Crews Tatum; also preceded in death by her husband Carl Edward "Honey Bee" Barker,
( nine brothers and sisters) Lonnie Tatum, Cleve Tatum, Erney Tatum, James T. (J.T.) Tatum, David L. (D.L.) Tatum, Matthew Tatum Jr., Kellie Tatum Renfro, Hazel Tatum Taylor, and Annie Bell Tatum.
She is survived by her loving daughter Cheryl Barker Douglas (Dan)of Waycross,
a brother, Freddie A. Cox (Sally) of Rayford, FL.,
a loving sister Wilma Carter Meeks (Guy) of Waycross,
3 grandchildren,
2 great-grandchildren,
and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services were held Friday October 5, 2001 at the graveside in Oakland Cemetery with the Rev. Malcolm Matheson officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery.
