W.F. Minatrea, 75, died at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, July 24, at his home. He was born August 30, 1910, in Maypearl the son of William O.
Minatrea and Delia F. Odam Minatrea. He married Loraine Turner June
21, 1935 in Twitty. They moved to Pep, Texas, in 1936 from Wellington, but returned to Wellington in 1944, where he farmed until he retired in April 1985. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife, Loraine, two sons, W.F. Minatrea of
Memphis, Tennessee and Alvin Minatrea of Garland; 5 daughters,
Wanda Manuel of Wellington, LaVerne Armstrong of Irving, Linda Williams of Bryson, Freida Hartman of Wellington, Nell Wauer of Amarillo; two sisters, Lora Dee Taylor of Tyler and Eva Joe Carlisle of Lubbock. There are 16 grandchildren, Willis Floyd Minatrea ED, Tracey and Casey Minatrea; Joey and Terry Manuel, Kathy Bowen, John Armstrong, LaCora Freestone, Thresia Garner, Randy Williams, Timothy, Leandra and Lucas Hartman, Jermey, Cynthia, Sara Wauer and 11 great grandchildren.
