Marge Marie Sandifer, Bassett died Feb 27, 2011 in Plano,Texas where she had been staying in a Nursing home after suffering from a stroke. Marge's home was in Midland, Texas. She loved antiques and art, as well as playing golf. She is survived by her sons Eugene Scott Newman and wife Margie of Buckeye, Arizona; Kevin Robert Bassett and wife Sandra of Richardson, Texas; Two grand children, Eugene Scott Newman Jr. and wife Loren of Las Vegas, Nevada; One Great grandchild, Riley Gene Newman also of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Marge is preceded in death by her second husband, Norman Albert Bassett ;and first husband, James Edward Newman; Parents Charlie E and Zanie Eugene Sandifer; Brothers, Charlie E Sandifer Jr. and Sherrod Ray Sandifer; and two sisters, Edna Raberta Crawford and Helen Aline Sandifer.
Marges ashes will be incased with her late husband, Norman. Memorial to be held at the Golf Club in Midland, Texas in April and together their urns will be vaulted at Hillside Cemetery in Connecticut.
