Funeral services for Roy Ayres, 80, of Bells who died Sunday in a Sherman hospital will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Mullican - Little Funeral Home with Rev W. C. Basley officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Ayres was born May 1 1911 in the Cannon Community, son of J. M. and Nannie Ayres. He married Fannie Reynolds August 24 1934 in Whitewright. He was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church and a retired employee of Wilson N. Jones Hospital housekeeping department and a member of Bells Masonic Lodge # 798.

Surviving are his wife ; son, Donald Gene Ayres of Bells; two sisters, Mary Atkins of Walters and Sarah Jo Smith of Bogota and two grandchildren. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. tonight.
