Funeral services will be conducted at St. John's Universalist Church at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon, the Rev. Arthur W. McDavitt in charge. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. The body was removed to the Meeks Mortuary and will be returned to the family home, where friends may call after 4 o'clock Thursday afternoon.
Mrs. Bunch was widely known as a collector of Indiana artifacts, glassware, lamps, and china. Her collection was said to have been the largest and most complete in this section of the country.
The daughter of the late Thomas and Charlotte Racer, Mrs. Bunch was born on July 13, 1878, at Millgrove, Ind. Her parents were pioneer residents of that vicinity and she received her education in Millgrove and Hartford City. Dr. and Mrs. Bunch were married on December 26, 1902, while Dr. Bunch was still a student in medical school.
Dr. and Mrs. Bunch came to Muncie in 1904, at which time Dr. Bunch entered the practice of medicine. They have lived at Jackson and Elm streets since 1908. Although she had no political aspirations, Mrs. Bunch took an active part in politics during the three terms her husband served as mayor of Muncie. Mrs. Bunch was a member of St. John's Universalist Church.
Surviving besides the husband are one sister, Mrs. Forrest R. Davis of Indianapolis; a niece, Mrs. Dorotha Hudson of Fort Wayne; and a nephew, John Thomas Davis of Indianapolis. Another sister, Mrs. Robert Burke of Syracuse, Ind., died two years ago.
