Robert Leroy Baier of New Richmond formerly of Osceola died Sunday Feb. 27th at the St. Croix health Center at the age of 85.

Robert was born July 25, 1925 in Durand. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Shafer Construction and was a member of the 49ers Union.

In his free time, he enjoyed hunting foxes, deer, and raccoons, fishing trout, and ice fishing pan fish. He also tended bars in the St. Croix Falls area.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife Helen, parents Anne and Cassie Baier, brother-in-laws Byron Holmquist, Charlie Ruck, Fred Ruck, grandson Joshua Baier, and granddaughter Kaylie Baier.

He is survived by his children Jean (Sherm) Boucher of New Richmond, Carol Baier of Balsam Lake, Lynda (Phil) Johnson of Hudson, Nancy (Ted) Schonebaum of Clear Lake, Sharon (Ford) Friday of Danbury, Steven (Lisa) Baier of Webster, grandchildren Heather Jason, Nycole, Becca, TJ, Jenifer, James, Cassie, Glenn, Michael, Jordan, great-grandchildren Austin, Houston, Kenedy, IsaBella, Kenzie, Oliver, Oskar, sisters Donna Green of Calf., Dolly Holmquist of Dresser, Marion (Rodney) Nelson of Cloquet, MN., Patty (Roland) Holmquist of Spokane, WA., Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Service 11 AM Friday, March 4th at Peace Lutheran Church in Dresser, WI

Cemetery:
Interment Balsam Lake Cemetery at 1:30 PM Friday, March 4th.
