Funeral services for Jean Jones, 77,
Tyler, are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home with the Rev. Anthony D. Sisemore and Danny Barnett officiating.
Burial will follow in Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery.
Jean was born July 17, 1933, in Jacksonville, Texas to the late Augustus and Emmie Starrick Kaich.
She passed away on Feb. 28, 2011, in Tyler.
She was a member of The Woods Baptist Church.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her daughter, Deborah Jones of Tyler; sons, Gordon Jones of Tyler and Charlie Jones and wife Judy of Whitehouse; granddaughter, Emma M. Jones; brother, Paul Kaich of Chicago, Ill.; sister, Lillian Overby of Port St. John, Fla.; many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl H. Jones.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Jones, Mike Boykin, Robert Langham, Julian Sanchez, James Adams and Bruce Adams. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Worthy, Wayne Jones, Olen Barnett, William Crook and Bob Lynn.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to The Salvation Army, 633 N. Broadway Ave., Tyler, 75702.
