Victoria Petros, 81, of 401 W. Eight St. died at 4:35 a.m. Saturday at Beardstown Hospital.
Born Feb. 21, 1901, near Kokomo, IN, she was a daughter of Joseph Emmanuel* and Mary Ellen (Swisher) Shackleford. She married Steve Petros. He died Aprl 8, 1959.
She is survived by four daughters, Geraldine L. Raines of Kokomo, IN, Mary B. Stephenson of Beardstown, Helen C. Harris of Hot Springs, AK, and Norma Jean Stephenson of New Port Richey, FL; a son, Joseph E. of Fort Wayne, IN; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister of South Bend, IN.
She also was preceded in death by a brother.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at the Cline Funeral Home, the Rev. Richard J. Mick officiation. Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
Memorials may be made to the Aged ad Retarded Citizens Memorial Fund in Jacksonville.
