Elizabeth ''Betty'' Devine, age 80, died Friday, February 11, 2011 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock Twsp. Mrs. Devine was born February 21, 1930 in Clifton, the daughter of the late Edward and the late Jennie (Stols) Shackleton. She was formerly of Clifton and moved to Ringwood with her husband in 1955. Mrs. Devine was a secretary at Artistic Weaving in Pompton Lakes, Pompton Lakes High School and North Jersey Appraisers in Ringwood, retiring in 2000. She was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church Chancel Guild and their choir; Eastern Star Peace Chapter #98 and Watchung Airstream Club.

Mrs. Devine is survived by her beloved husband Joseph; her loving children Kathy Devine and Edward and his wife Laurie; her devoted grandchildren, Jeanne Rissin and Edward Devine, Jr.; dearest step-grandsons, Thomas and Matthew Mullarkey; her cherished great-granddaughters, Chloe And Zoe Rissin; her dear sister Joan Habingreither and her loving nieces and nephews, Chuck, Lynn, Lisa, Jeni, Eric and Sarah.

Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.

The funeral will be Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 50 Erskine Rd, Ringwood and will be celebrated by Pastor Robert Herring.

Interment will be in Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa.
