Her husband of 65 yearsErnest Bousquet died in 2005. She is survived by two daughters Lucille Rocheford and her husband Neal of Cherry Valley and Marie J. Rickard and her husband Raymond of Brookfield; two sisters Aline Fredette and Beatrice Taylor of both of Worcester; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
Rita was born in Worcester daughter of the late Joseph and Clementine (Veroneau) Blondin and is predeceased by five brothers Rudolph, Leonel, Oscar, Roland and Raoul Blondin and a sister Doris Allard.
Mrs. Bousquet worked for many years at the Phalo Plastics Company and was a lifelong member of the former Holy Name of Jesus Parish.
Rita enjoyed spending her summers in Wells, Maine and was most happy when she was with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family wishes to extend a thank you to all of the staff at the Christopher House for their exceptional care and support that was given to Rita.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 31, from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. with a Mass at 12 Noon in St. Josephs Church 35 Hamilton Street. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are on Tuesday, March 30, from 5 to 7 PM in the funeral home.
