Doyle William Skarda, 84, of Jackson, died Friday, Feb. 25, 2011, at Sogge Good Samaritan Home.

Surviving are his wife, Jean Skarda, Jackson; one son, Timothy (Marcy Crain) Skarda, Minneapolis; two sisters, Gena Doyscher, Forest Lake, and Doris (James) Bower, Seattle, Wash.; two brothers, Dean (Kathy Sheran) Doyscher, Mankato, and Dennis (Trish) Doyscher, San Antonio, Texas; and two granddaughters.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. today at First Presbyterian Church, Jackson.

The service will be 11 a.m. today at First Presbyterian Church, Jackson, with the Rev. Christopher Drew officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Jackson
