Brooklet - Mrs. W.M. Jones, 93, died Tuesday at her home after a long illness. She was a native of Laurens County but had lived in Brooklet for the past 40 years and was a member of the Brooklet United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Cyril S. Jones and W. Kemple Jones, both of Brooklet; two daughters, Mrs. Doretha J. Ryals and Mrs. Juanita Bradford, both of Brooklet; a sister, Mrs. Susie J. Jones of Alma; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today at the Brooklet United Methodist Church with burial in the Brooklet City Cemetery. Smith-Tillman Mortuary of Statesboro is in charge.
