Mrs. Bass, widow of the late James H. Bass died February 24, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Charlie M. Conyers and Gladys Dority Conyers. Mrs. Bass was a medical secretary for 42 years with The West Clinic. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Camden.
She is survived by her daughter, Anne Marie Knight of Bethune; son, James H. "Jim" Bass, Jr. and his wife Lynn of Denver, NC; grandchildren, Jennifer F. Watts and her husband Richard of Bethune, Britt Bass and his wife Dianna of Maiden, NC and Ashley Elizabeth Beasley and her husband George of Huntersville, NC; six great grandchildren, Kassidy and Logan Watts, Laura and Willow Bass, Emma and Grayson Beasley; brother, Charles E. Conyers, Jr. and his wife Toni of Orlando FL; sisters-in law, Betty Jo Lloyd and Dot Dixon; special family friends, Dianne Byrd, Chris Byrd and Lance Byrd. She was predeceased by a sister, Doris C. Strickland.
