Funeral services were held at the residence at 2 p.m. Thursday, Rev Frank Barnes officiating, burial in New Hope Cemetery.
Surviving besides the parents, are six sisters, Arlena, Ruby, Helen, and Betty Bennett, all of Rout a, Riesel, Mrs. Beatrice Miles of Waco and Mrs. Lola Mae Brunson of Bryan, Texas; six brothers, M. L., Roy,Don and David, all of Route 1, Riesel, Sgt. J. A. Bennett, Jr. of Fort Worth, Cpl. Willie Bennett of the Air Corps, Alaska; maternal grandmother, Mrs. J. A. York of Houston.
