Dianne E. (Curts) Cage, 57, Alexandria, died unexpectedly Feb. 20, 2011, at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.

She was born April 1, 1953, in Anderson, and resided in Alexandria. She was a trucking recruiter for Celadon. Prior to that she was employed as a salesperson at Regenold Pontiac in Anderson. She lived in Madison County all her life and was a graduate of Alexandria-Monroe High School.

She was a member of the First Christian Church in Alexandria and Alexandria Community Theatre. Dianne enjoyed spending time with her grandsons and her dogs, Jackson and Lucy. She also liked spending time at the lakes.

She is survived by her husband whom she married on March 5, 1977, Bruce Cage of Anderson; mother, Sandra (Curts) Johnson of Anderson; sons, Chris Cage and Josh Cage of Anderson; daughter, Karalee (husband, Adam) Peercy of Pendleton; sister, Lori Curts of Anderson; sisters-in-law, Marsha (husband, Larry) Waltermire and Kandus Cage; grandchildren, Ryan, Cameron, Colin, Kaleb Cage, and Luke Peercy; nieces and nephews, Alisha Cage, Erica Waltermire and Jed Curts; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Curts; brother, Marty Curts; grandparents, Margaret Curts, and Fred and Margaret Kilgore; brother-in-law, Joel Cage; and in-laws, Kenneth and Yvette Cage.
