Sarah Jane Clark, daughter of William and Elizabeth Clark, was born January 21, 1851 in Sandusky county, Ohio and passed away Aug. 31, 1937, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edith Miller, near Reading, Michigan, at the age of 86 years, 8 months and 19 days.

On Oct. 6, 1872, she was united in marriage to Reuben Sellers and to this union were born five children: Jesse C. of Union City, Mich., George W., and Almeda Adams of Angola, LeRoy of Fremont, Ind., and Mrs. Edith Miller of Reading

On Sept. 10, 1920, Mr. Sellers passed away and since then she has spent the remainder of her days with her children.

She was converted at an early age and joined the Christian church near Metz, Indiana and later transferred her membership to the United Brethren church.

Those left to cherish the memory of a noble life are the five children, 31 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren, also one sister, Mrs. John Cleckner of Angola. Several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held at the Klink Funeral Home Saturday afternoon at one o'clock. Rev. Jesse Nofzinger officiating and interment was in South Scott cemetery.
