March 27, 1918 - January 17, 2007

Frankfort-Services for Thelma Blackburn Armstrong, 88, of Lincoln Dr., will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. At Harrod Brothers Memorial Chapel. She died at Golden Living Center following a long illness.

Burial will be in the Frankfort Cemetery.

A native of Pike Co., she was a homemaker. She was the former President for Rebbecca Eastern Star. She was a member of East Frankfort Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Jack Armstrong, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Joe Armstrong, Frankfort; a brother, John W. Blackburn, Columbus, OH; four sisters, Juanita Ratliff, Frankfort, Helen Shoud, Faye McFarland, and Shirley Dempsey, all of Columbus, OH; eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

She was the widow of Roy H. Armstrong.

She was the daughter of the late Grover and Havanah Williams Blackburn and was also preceded in death by her son, Bill Armstrong and her brother, Jerry Blackburn.

Rev. Gary Ellcessor will officiate.

Friends may call Monday, 5 to 8 p.m., at Harrod Brothers Memorial Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Caner Society.
