Services for Gladys Fern (Hoyer) Montgomery Crober, 80, of Tyler, were held Saturday, Sept. 25, 1999 in the First Assembly of God Family Church with burial in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Mrs. Crober was born Dec. 18, 1918, in Jasper, Ark., to the late Roy and Julia (Fenn) Hoyer an died Thursday, Sept. 23, 1999 in Tyler. She was a homemaker. She had resided in Tyler for the past year and she formerly resided in Lufkin for 24 years. She was a member of First Assembly of God Family Church. She was active in her church as former Women's Ministry President and heard of the Prayer Chain.

Survivors: daughter, Colette Tolbert of Houston, Kendra Willert of Topeka, Kan., and Ladelle Timme of Tyler; brother, Kenneth Hoyer of Oklahoma City, Okla.; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
