She is well-known here, she having resided her eleven years ago, on West North street, in the house now occupied by her daughter, Mrs. Scott.
She was born and reared in McSherrystown, Adams county.
After her marriage to Mr. Adams, they moved to Emmitsburg. Here they lived for a number of years, after which they moved to Waynesboro. At the death of her husband, eleven years ago, Mrs. Adams moved to Baltimore, where she made her home, ever since, with her daughter, Mrs. Cook.
She was a member of the Catholic church.
She is survived by the following children: Mrs. S. L. Haugh and Mrs. Walter Scott, this place; Mrs. E. J. Favorite, Hagerstown; Mrs. S. A. Cook, Baltimore, and Harry Adams, Westminster.
