There was a graveside service for her in Sunset Memorial Park. Pastor Harry Sharp of the Seventh-day Adventist church officiated. She had been a resident of the community for 27 years.

She was survived by sons, Calvin Earl, North Bend, Alvin Earl, Molalla, Emory Holland, Princeville, a daughter, Miss Edith Earl, Salem. 6 grandchildren. North Bend Chapel of the Campbell-Watkins Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Edward and Arletta had five children, twins Alvin and Edith born 24 April 1922, twin boys born in April 1923 and Calvin James born 9 July 1924. The twin boys, Albert (or Hubert) and Herbert were adopted by another family when they were babies. No additional information about them has been located.
