SENATOBIA - Howard Eugene Brown, 70, retired machinist after 24 years with Chromcraft Furniture since 1988, died of heart failure Monday at his home. Services will be at 10 a.m. today at C. O. Pate Funeral Home with burial in Harmontown (Miss.) Cemetery. A World War II Navy veteran, he had served in the Philippines aboard the USS LST932. He was a member of Looxahoma Baptist Church. Mr. Brown leaves two sons, Howard Darrell Brown of Crenshaw and Mark Allen Brown of Southaven; a sister, Corrinne Hartley of Harmontown, and five grandchildren.
