Rincon - Gwendolyn Rose Jones Hunt "Gwen", 66, died Sunday, May 14, 2006 at her residence.
The Chatham County native was a member of North Salem Baptist Church . She retired from Coastal State Prison after 30 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Leviticus Jones and Vera Jenkins Jones.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Lynwood Hunt of Rincon; daughter, Elaina Garrett (Trae) of Rincon; son, Al Hunt of Guyton; three sisters, Paulette Zettler of Raleigh, NC, Janice Fulcher of Springfield, and Elizabeth Reddick of Savannah; two grandchildren, Kristen and Brooke Capwell of Rincon.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at North Salem Baptist Church .
Interment will be in the church cemetery .
Remembrances may be given to American Cancer Society, 1930 Springfield-Egypt Rd., Springfield, GA 31329.
