Ovide Lejeune, 67, 725 Boyd Avenue, died at his residence this morning at 1:40. He was the husband of the late Miss Claire Weber.
Mr. Lejeune had been residing in Baton Rouge since 1919. he was the father in law of Dr. Paul M. Hebert, dean of the Louisiana State University Law School, and a brother of Joe Lejeune, mayor of New Roads for 25 years.
The body was to rest at the Rabenhorst funeral home until 2 p.m. today, when services were to be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial was to be in the Grace cemetery in St. Francisville.
He leaves a son, Edgar Lejeune of Baton Rouge; two daughters, Mrs. frank L. Clack and Mrs. Paul M. Hebert of Baton Rouge; two brothers, Joe Lejeune of New Roads and John Lejeune of Baton Rouge; and three sisters, Mrs. R. Vignes and Mrs. S. E. Brown of Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Carrie Hull of Toledo, Ohio.
