FRAKES SERVICES HELD ON MONDAY
Funeral Services for Mrs Grant (Agnes) Frakes, 68, of Miami, MO, who died Friday morning at the Doctors' Hospital, Kansas City, were held held at 2 pm Monday in the United Methodist Church in Miami. Rev Kile Hern, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the Miami Cemetery, Wilkinson-Hershberger Funeral Home was in charge.
Mrs WA Snoddy, organist, played "The Old Rugged Cross" amd "In The Sweet Bye and Bye."
Pallbears were Herb Malan, CC Malan, Walter Malan, Charles Peterman, Billy Smith, and Jack Smith.
Mrs Frakes was born Febuary 2, 1902 in Saline County, the daughter of John T and Ida Bell Miller Goodson. She was married October 5, 1964 in the Methodist Church, Miami, to Grant A Frakes, who survives of the home. She was a retired employee of the FM Stamper Company and had entered the hospital one week ago on Sunday, death was unexpected.
Surviving besides her husband of the home, are a son, Cecil Downing of Kansas City, three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren;
three brothers, Jesse Lee Goodson, Nelson; Harold T Goodson, Houstonia; Elwood W Goodson, Hialeah, Fla; three siters, Mrs Henry (Corinne) Smith, Grand Pass, Mrs Paul (Gertrude) Henderson, Norborne, and Mrs Virgil (Clara) McCroskie of Housonia.
