Actress. She was an American actress. After appearing on stage in the 1955 Broadway production "Pipe Dream," she appeared in the 1957 film, "Bop Girl Goes Calypso". As a teenager, she was Princess Summerfall Winterspring on television on the "Howdy Doody Show." Her original name was Judith Mae Hess. She was killed along with her second husband, Greg Lafayette, in an auto accident three days after shooting was finished on the film "Jailhouse Rock" with Elvis Presley. She and her husband married on March 17, 1956 at the Balmoral hotel in Miami, Florida. Her first husband was Colin Romoff, from 1950 to 1956. She made a guest appearance on the television crime mystery, "Perry Mason" as Irene Kilby in "The Case of the Fan Dancer's Horse", which aired posthumously on December 28, 1957.
