Funeral services for Stephen Chandler, 54 years old, killed yesterday, when a motor in which he was riding was demolished by a Louisville & Nashville train at a railroad crossing near Central City, will be held at the home of Mrs. Sallie Barber in New Caste tomorrow afternoon. The services will be conducted by the Rev. Mr. Thompson of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville. Burial will be in New Castle Cemetery. Mr. Chandler, a salesman for the Louisville Provision Company, formerly served two terms as Circuit Court Clerk of Henry County and once was superintendent of Henry County Schools. He also served as a deputy under Prohibition. Director W. O. Mayes.
