Susan Rawls Baker died Sunday, Feb. 13 after a four-year battle with cancer. She has been an inspiration to all who have observed her fight with cancer. She endured her own cancer and "doctored" her husband, Steven W. Baker, during his 18 month battle with cancer. She was compassionate and respectful of others needs. She was athletic, loving animals and sports. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, pharmacist, and friend to many. She was an Auburn Pharmacy School graduate and a true Auburn Tiger fan. One of her last pleasures was taking her family to see the Tigers play and win the 2010 BCS National Championship. She was preceded in death by her husband. Survivors include two children, Whitney Renee Baker and Steven Wayne "Rocky" Baker II; her parents Mr. and Mrs. Bill Rawls of Robertsdale; and a sister Donna Rawls (Kelly) Brown of Summerdale. Visitation begins at 9 a.m. with funeral services at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 17 at the Robertsdale United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kelly Brown and the Rev. Steve Spining officiating. Burial will follow at Baldwin Memorial Cemetery, Robertsdale. Pallbearers are Jeffery Fountain, Phillip Fountain, Shane Fountain, Wesley Fountain, Steve Baker and Steve Taylor.
