PURCELL MAN DRINKS STRICHNINE AND DIES IN STREET AS HE FORGIVES HER

Purcell, Okla., April 17 – "May god pity and forgive her; she has given me poison; put it in my coffee at dinner. I drank it. Poor woman; she didn't know what she was about; she has no mind. I forgive her and may God forgive her."
These were the dying words of D. Anderson, 36, a barber, who fell prostrate upon the street in front of his place of business late yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Anderson, wild in a rage of insanity, is being guarded by officials. In her ravings she tells of the awful crime that she has committed and both curses and pities the man she has killed.
Mrs. Anderson placed strychnine in her husband's coffee. Unsuspectingly, he drank it, although he believed that two days ago she made an attempt to poison him in this manner.
