A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, February 25th at the Cloverdale Funeral Home Reception Center, 1200 N Cloverdale Road from 7pm to 9pm.
Lori was born November 1, 1954 in Loveland, Colorado, to George and Carol Borgens; she was the second of three children. The family moved to Boise in 1958 where Lori attended school & graduated from Borah High in 1972.
Lori was a career sales professional and worked in the office supply business & mortgage lending. She was a natural when it came to customer service with her charismatic personality.
Lori enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, camping, fishing, boating & traveling. She made many friends in her life's journey and always enjoyed getting people together.
She is survived by her husband, David; two daughters, Heather Richards and Heidi Saunders; father, George Borgens; siblings, Georgia Vreeland and Greg Borgens; stepdaughter, Kathleen Kai; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many special nieces & nephews.
She is preceded in death by her mother.
Lori always found time to lend a helping hand and her heart was filled with an abundance of love & generosity.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to The Walker Center in Gooding, Idaho.
