Mrs. Hilda Berniece Alberts, 53, of Rt. 4, Delphi, died at 1 a.m. Saturday in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette, where she had been a patient for two weeks.
She was born March 28, 1917, the daughter of Charles and Laura Goslee Wise. She was married in 1938 to Robert Alberts, who survives.
A graduate of Delphi High School, she was a member of Hickory Grove Church and Modern Homemakers E H Club in Deer Creek Township.
Surviving with the husband are two sons, Gary of Rt. 4, Delphi and Kirby at home; one daughter, Mrs. Jerry Rossetter of Rt. 4, Delphi; one brother, Robert F. Wise of Rt. 1, Delphi; the parents of Rt. 1, Delphi, and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday in the Jackson Funeral Home at Delphi. Rev. Glenn Friar officiated and burial was in Masonic Cemetery.
