Mrs. Daniel was born in McBean, Ga., and was a resident of Waynesboro all her married life. She received a teaching degree from the Junior College of Augusta in 1930. She taught school before becoming a local business woman. She owned and operated Daniel's Cleaners in Waynesboro for over 45 years.

Mrs. Daniel was an avid golfer. She was a member of the Waynesboro Country Club Ladies' Golf Association. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Waynesboro.

Mrs. Daniel was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Emory Daniel, and her parents, John Christopher and Bertice Broome.


She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Barry Randolph, and grandsons, Glen Henry Newsome and Emory Victor Randolph. She is also survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Susan Daniel, and grandsons, Everett Byrd Daniel and Ross Christopher Daniel.

Aunt Vic, as she was affectionately called, will also be missed by a multitude of Broome and Daniel nieces and nephews.
