James Henry Allen was born July 14, 1940, in Atoka, OK to Jimmy Clarence and Emma Lawrence (Towler) Allen and passed from this life on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at his home in Kingston surrounded by his family.

James has lived in Marshall County most of his life and worked as a mechanic. He married Shirley J. Stephens in January of 2009. He loved taking care of his flower beds and roses, watching hummingbirds, fishing, collecting cars and spending time with family and friends.

James was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Myrtle Cobb, Judy Johnson and Betty Wilson; brother, Bill Allen, nephews, Joe Dean Harner and Bob Allen and brother-in-law, Bob Stephens.

James is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Shirley Allen of the home; his beloved children, JimmieDon Allen and wife Lisa of Kingston, James Gil Allen and wife Mellissia of Kingston, Donna Wallace and husband Kelly of Manitou, OK, Bobby Cramer and wife Monica of Bridgeport, TX, Sarah Robinson of Kingston, Amanda Allen and husband Michael of Kingston, Rick Derryberry and wife Mary of Cement, OK, Roger Allen of Kingston and Karen King and husband Paul of Hurst, TX; ex wife Myrna Allen of Manitou, OK; 24 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

Services will be held on Monday, February 14th, 2:00 PM at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow at Hainline Cemetery with Charles Conway, Alan Furr, Mikey Vanhoose, Eddie Cobb, Stephen Gilbert, Shawn Mize, Jessie Allen and Gary Zachary serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Sunday, February 13th from 5-7 PM.
