Dessie Mae Chinault was the daughter of Robert Smith "Dolly" Chinault and Julia Myrtle Gray. Her sibling were: James, Carl, Al Davis, Katherine and Edith Chinault.

Dessie married Darl Phillip Stevens. He was a medical aidman who served in World War II and Vietnam.

Mrs. Dessie C. Stevens

A funeral for Mrs. Dessie Chinault Stevens, 69, of Bowling Green will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Storke Funeral Home in Bowling Green, with the Rev. Kevin James officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Bowling Green.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.

Mrs. Stevens died Thursday, Sept. 14, at her home.

Born in Caroline County, she had retired from Nolde Bread Co. in Petersburg, where she was a resident for many years. She was the widow of Darl P. Stevens.

Survivors include a son, Jerry Chinault of Bowling Green; three brothers, Robert James Chinault of Bowling Green, Al Davis of Richmond and Carl Chinault of Sparta; three sisters, Katherine Moore of Shumansville, Betty Marie Bustamante and Edith Wright, both of Milford; and two grandchildren.
