Bearden, Nova Inez Born November 30, 1916 at home near Palmer, Texas to Bradford and Sallie Nash Lord. Passed away February, 8, 2011. Lived in Cockrell Hill, Texas for 52 years. Survived by son, Gary: daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Alvin Walker; grandsons Robbie Harris; Ryan and wife Emily Harris; sister Wilma Underwood, brother and sister-in-law Lemuel and Frankie Lord; sister-in-law Evelyn Lord; sister-in-law Nellie Crow, 7 nieces and 13 nephews; and other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by parents, husband Homer Bearden, brother, Edward Lord; sister Annie Lee Lord; brother and sister-in-law Thurber and Dahlia Lord, sister and brother-in-law Opal and Lloyd Bearden; brother-in-law JB. Underwood, and niece Linda Ruth Randall, brothers and sisters-in-law W.H. and Faye Bearden; Wayne and Connie Bearden; brother-in-law Ray Crow. Inez graduated from Palmer High School and worked at Haggar, North American Aircraft, and S.H.Kress & Co. before getting married. She was a faithful and long time member of Hampton Place Baptist Church-now Cockrell Hill Baptist Church. She influenced many lives by keeping children in her home, serving in the church nursery and teaching English to non-English speaking adults at Hampton Place Baptist Church. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother and will be missed by many. Visitation Friday, 7-9p at the funeral home. Service 10 am Saturday at Cockrell Hill Baptist Church.
