MRS. MARSHALL, 68, DIES AFTER LENGTHY ILLNESS AT HITEMAN
Mrs. Jane Marshall, 68 years old, died Saturday night at her home in Hiteman after an illness of several years. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Albia Methodist Episcopal church, the Rev. Parley Batten of Chariton officiating. Burial will be in Oak View cemetery.
Mrs. Marshall was born in England and came to America soon after her marriage, settling in the east. She came to Hiteman 36 years ago. Her husband, Adam Marshall, has since been a miner there.
Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Mrs. James Batten and Mrs. John Davidson of Hiteman; four sons, William O. and David of Chariton, Adam Jr. of Williamson and George of Pekin, Ill., 28 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
