Elder Isaac Webb's Bible has the entry: "David M. Webb passed away July 16, 1942 at 10 Oclock PM with his children and many friends by him. age 74."

David married Joanna Worrell on 4 Nov 1885 in Carroll County, Virginia by Elder Isaac Webb.

"Prominent Citizen Passes On

David M. Webb, aged 74, died at his home, Snake Creek, July 16th. He was the son of the late Elder Isaac and Malisia J. Webb.
Mr. Webb was a god farmer and manager. He provided well for his family and lived honorably in sight of God and man. In his youth, he is known to have cut 151 dozen of wheat in one day.
Funeral services were conducted by Elder R. Price Vass, as he requested in Fellowship Primitive Baptist church in which he had been a member for forty-two years. Interment was in the family cemetery near his home."
