Sherry Lynn Angel. Age 53, of Battle Creek, went home to be with the Lord on December 25, 2010. She died peacefully at her home in Battle Creek. Sherry was born on July 11, 1957 to Bob and Tandra (VanWormer) Angel. Sherry was the eldest of three Children. Sherry loved her family and friends more than life itself. She truly had a "heart of gold" with a personality that would light up a room. Sherry worked for many years at the Battle Creek Humane Society, CAA Franklin Center and she was also a co-founder of a local towing company. Some of her passions included reading, gardening, shopping at garage sales, sunbathing, collecting fish tanks,angel figurines and antiques. Sherry is survived by her daughter, Jessica (Gene) Fatato-Wilson of Battle Creek, a son; Tony (Angie) Fatato of Kalamazoo, her father, Bob Angel of Battle Creek, a brother: Bobby Ray Angel of Battle Creek, a nephew, Logan Angel and five grandchildren. Sherry is preceded in death by her mother, Tandra Angel and her sister, Michelle "Shelly" Angel. Sherry will truly be missed and always loved. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday at the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service, 223 N. Bedford Rd. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be given to the Humane Society of Southwest Michigan.
