In Memoriam
These lines are written in memory of Albert Lee Bell, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thos. F. Bell, who died August 29th, 1912. He was buried at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, the funeral sermon was preached by the writer and he was assisted in the service by Rev. D. I. Purser, of LaFayette. A large congregation of relatives and friends assembled to witness the last sad rites, and every heart was in sympathy with the bereaved family. Albert was born November 8th, 1891; but since he was seven years of age he had been sadly afflicted and was a great sufferer through all the years of his remaining life. He was most tenderly cared for by the dear ones in the home; everything that constant attention and skillful medical aid could do was done for him. Through all these years he was gentle and patient; he was distinguished for his obedient and loving spirit, which manifested itself to the dear ones in the home and to friends and neighbors. The Father in Heaven has seen fit to take him to Himself; his sufferings are passed, and he has found rest. May the God of all comfort minister to the afflicted family.
