Harry C. Bailey
of Lexington, Kentucky passed away Monday, December 14, 2009 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Harry was born January 25, 1928 in Magoffin County to the late Sam J. and Betty Cole Bailey. Harry was also united in marriage to the late Lillian Delphine Blanton Bailey whom proceeds him in death. Harry is survived by two sons - Stephen Bailey of Lexington, Kentucky and Michael Bailey of Bagdad, Kentucky, one daughter - Teresa Mahan of McMimville, Oregon, two brothers - Jack Bailey of Merryville, Indiana, and Don Bailey of Salyersville, Kentucky, and two sisters - Mary Lee Minix of Greer, South Carolina, and Pansy Patrick of Florida. Harry is also survived by five grandchildren. Along with his wife and parents Harry is proceeded in death by one brother - Arthur Bailey and two sisters - Ressie Williams and Tressie Push. Harry was a retired Insurance Salesman from Woodmen of the World. Funeral services for Harry will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 18th at the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery in Staffordsville, Kentucky. Officiating the services will be Steve Williams. Visitation will be held after 4:00 PM on Thursday, December 17th until the time of service.
