Moses T. Bahney
Moses T. BAHNEY, 77, R.R. 1, Roann, died Friday at 2 p.m. in the Friendly nursing home at Wabash, where he had been a patient 18 days. A retired farmer, he had been ill two years.
Last rites will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Sheetz funeral home at Akron with the Rev. Richard JOHNSON officiating. Burial will be in the Akron cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
Born April 3, 1886, in Miami county, Mr. Bahney was the son of Samuel and Mary Ellen YARIAN BAHNEY and had spent his life in that community. He was married in Rochester Dec. 15, 1909, to Valura NYE, who survives.
Mr. Bahney was a member of the Emmanuel E.U.B. church.
Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Floyd (Beatrice) FITES, R.R. 1, Macy; Mrs. Allen (Imogene) SMITH, R.R. 1, Silver Lake; and Mrs. Harold (Mary Ellen) FLOOR, North
Manchester; a son, Gerald [BAHNEY], R.R. 1, Roann; twelve grandchildrn; three greatgrandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Rosetta OLIVER, Akron; Mrs. Albert (Hazel) SCHIPPER, Roann, and Mrs. William (Verna)BEMENDERFER, Indianapolis. Preceding in death were a son, two grandsons and three brothers.
