SERVICES FOR AMOS MARTIN MOSHER Services for Amos Martin Mosher who died Friday evening at Valley Manor Nursing Home, were conducted by the Rev Fred J. VanderMeer at 4 p.m January 29 from the United Presbyterian Church in Montrose. Amos Martin Mosher was born May 31, 1873 in Henry County, near Salem, Iowa, and grew up there.

After farming, he retired and came to Colorado, locating in the San Luis valley and going to Montrose in 1948.

On Jan 1, 1901 he was married at Salem, IA to Myrtle Katherine Barton, who died in July 1905. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Thelma (Walter) Lilly, of Montrose and Mrs. Miriam C. Johnson, of Espanola, six grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Eva Barton of Salem, IA. Mr. Mosher had retained his membership in a Presbyterian church in Kansas and was a member of the Knights of Pythias in Del Norte.
Interment in the Olathe Cemetery was directed by the Montrose Funeral Home.
