Dies At 81 in Utica
John E. Bogan, 81, of 1415 Conkling Ave., Utica, a retired machine operator for the former Savage Arms plant, died on Feb. 25, 1965 in Faxtor Hospital. He was born in Waterville. He married M. Helen Collins in 1921 in Waterville. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church and its Holy Name Society. He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Leslie (Mary Ellen) Gates, Frankfort and two sons, Stuart. Waterville and John, Utica. The fureral was held at 9 on Saturday from the Swiatek-Myslinski Funeral Home and at 9:30 from Blessed Sacrament Church. Interment will take place in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Waterville, in the spring.
