ROYCE BURKHOLDER, of Englewood, Colo., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 31, 1962 following a lingering illness. He was a former resident of this area and the son of Mrs. Belle McDowell of the Polo Road. Mrs. McDowell has been at her son's bedside for the past 10 days. Funeral rites will be held in Colorado, following which the body is being forwarded to the East Jordan Cemetery for graveside services and burial. Arrangements are not completed. Mr. Burkholder was married to the former Lareese Brown of Walnut who survives. He also leaves a daughter, sister and grandson. Graveside services for Royce Burkholder who passed away Wednesday in Englewod, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday [11/06/1962] by Rev. Robert J. Harman, pastor of the East Jordan church. The ashes will be buried in the East Jordan Cemetery. The funeral was held Saturday in the Boulevard Mortuary in Denver, Colo.
