Mrs. Cook was born Dec. 18, 1913, in Burg, the daughter of Tessie William and Estella Simmons Mounts. She died Thursday, Nov. 12, 1998, at a Nashville hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Cook, Sr., who died in 1994. Survivors include two sons, two daughters of Dierks, two brothers of Dierks: two sisters, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
