Evie Watson, age 33, died of palagra leaving behind a husband, James Watson and five children as follows: Four daughters; Lena Ophelia, Beulah Lee, Eula Mae, Nellie Rosalee; One son James Henry Watson. The children were later placed in other homes. The children grew up and married and had their own children and grandchildren.
Personal Note: My grandmother Beulah Lee, then age 12, told me about how she cared for her mother and how ill she was until her death. Caretaker
1910 US Census shows the family living in Smith County, MS prior to the birth of her daughters Nellie Rosalee and Eula Mae. Birth stone shows Eula Mae born in 1909, however, she does not appear on the 1910 census. Only the first three of her children appear.
