Ezra Bull Died June 15; Buried Last Saturday
Funeral services for Ezra Bull, 70, former resident of Morrison for many years, who died Thursday, June 15, at the home of his son Howard at Rochester, Mich., were held at the Reynolds funeral home at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon and burial was made in the Cottonwood cemetery, Rev. W. R. Wilson of the Methodist church of this city officiating.
Mr. Bull was born in the Cottonwood community June 24, 1873, the son of John and Philena Gordon Bull, and was reared and educated in Union Grove. He as united in marriage in 1897 with Margaret KcKee of Fulton, and he was the father of two children, Howard and a daughter who passed away in infancy.. His wife died in 1930, and in 1933 he was married to Mrs. Helen Appel at Dixon.
Mr. Bull had resided in the Dakotas, Minnesota, and at Fulton before moving to Morrison about 20 years ago. He was a member of the Crookston, Minn., Presbyterian church, but united with the Methodist church of this city during Rev. Perry’s pastorate.
Surviving are his wife, son Howard; three great grandchildren; two step children, Mrs. George Fields of Sterling and Lou Goff of Elmhurst, Ill.; two brothers, Dr. Ben J. Bull and Abram E. Bull of Morrison; three half-brothers, Fred Bull of Morrison, George Bull of Oregon and Guy Bull of Wauwatosa, Oregon. Preceding him in death were three half-brothers, Wilson Bull, Bion Bull and Charles Bull, and three half sisters, Delta B. Goff, Nellie Potter and Retta Bull.
Pallbearers were Gene Wagenecht, Floyd Annan, Clarence Baker, Ren Beswick, Charles Hammer and H. L. Shawyer. Mrs. Mary Alldritt and Mrs. William Jones had charge of the flowers.
