Mrs. Charlotte H. Dumelow, 80, of 202 S.E. Severin Rd., Port Charlotte, died Monday morning at her home. She was born in Chicago, IL and came to Port Charlotte nine and a half years ago from River Forest, IL. She was a retired medical librarian with a bachelor of science degree from Vassar College and a masters degree from Case Western Reserve. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Port Charlotte; the Port Charlotte Civic Association, Friends of the Library and the University Club.
Survivors include her husband, John C. Dumelow of Port Charlotte; three daughters: Joan Wanderer of Larchmont, NY; Marian Clark of Oak Park, IL and Lois Downey of Alado, IL; one brother, Ralph Hartmann of Oak Park, IL; three sisters, Emily Williams of River Forest, IL; Helen Baldwin of Baraboo, WI and Constance Collins of Oak Park, IL; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral service wil lbe conducted today 1 11 a.m. at Port Charlotte chapel of Kays Funeral Home with the Rev. Maurice E. Beary of the First Presbyterian Church of Port charlotte officiating. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte. (Fort Myers News-Press, 9/16//70)
